Grilling Rubs
We have taken generations of grilling expertise and
packaged it for you to use at home. Our gourmet grilling rubs take
the guesswork out of seasoning, and help expand your repertoire
with less time preparing. All of our rubs are fantastic for seasoning
food just 15 minutes before it hits the grill.
Fast, Predictable and Delicious Grilling
The narrow cans, with their wide-open tops, make it
easy to liberally season your food in preparation for grilling.
Rub the spice blends generously into all sides of beef, pork, poultry
or fish. Use a lighter touch to sprinkle over vegetables.
Each Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet Grill Rub has been
inspired by our friends and family, and uses only the finest ingredients,
including sea salt, roasted garlic flakes, whole coriander and fennel,
organic Oaxacan coffee, basil oil.
Our rubs are available as a set of five (one of each
gourmet blend), or you can order any three rubs you like.
Kalamazoo Garlic Rub - 3.5oz/99g
Our signature rub uses three kinds of dried garlic and is our
favorite with just about everything. Season your vegetables, meat,
poultry or fish before grilling.
Big Shoulders Steak and Chop Rub - 3.5oz/99g
Our fresh take on the classic Chicago steakhouse seasoning is great
over high heat or indirect grilling.
Za Za Barbecue Rub - 4oz/113g
Our Za Za Barbecue rub is special and rare, using organic Oaxacan
coffee along with more traditional barbecue flavors. This rub is
complex and flavorful, with a wonderful texture. Great with chicken,
pork and even salmon.
Motor City BBQ Rub - 4oz/113g
Our classic barbecue rub is great as a base seasoning for slow-cooked
ribs or as a grilling rub for chicken and pork. Motor City BBQ Rub
