Garden Design Garners Top Prize at Garden Show

SAN FRANCISCO, CA: Garden Design magazine’s display garden at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show was honored with a gold medal as well as the top prize, the People’s Choice Award.

Once a year, Garden Design springs to three-dimensional life in the form of a realized garden at one of the country’s finest garden shows. In March 2006, with designer Michele Swanson and builder Modern Landscaping, Inc., we created the Moroccan Modern garden at the San Francisco Flower & Garden Show.

Precise walls and flooring, abundant plantings and the best in outdoor furniture and accoutrements came together to wow over 50,000 attendees upon first sight as they entered the building. Situated front and center, Moroccan Modern set the bar for creativity and accessibility, providing attendees with ideas they can transplant to their own gardens.
