Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet™ Presents Outdoor Kitchen
Design Workshop at the 2008 APLD Annual Conference
CHICAGO, IL (July 1, 2008) – Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet™, the leading industry resource for designing and equipping the complete outdoor kitchen, will present an advanced design seminar, Designing Outdoor Kitchens That Sizzle, at the 2008 Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) Annual Conference. The week-long conference, titled Renew Refresh Inspire, will be held in Tarrytown, NY. Kalamazoo’s Director of Marketing, Russ Faulk, will lead the discussion.
Designing Outdoor Kitchens That Sizzle will explore the outdoor living trend, one of the fastest growing areas of consumer capital spending that remains an untapped opportunity for many landscape design professionals. The course will address key principles of designing outdoor kitchens, from functional arrangement and site infrastructure requirements to the amenities of the outdoor kitchen and proper product selection. The workshop will be offered twice on Monday, August 11, in a morning session from 8 AM to noon, and again from 1:15 to 5 PM that afternoon.
